After a rare spring training day off, the Blue Jays are back in action today when they welcome the division rival Baltimore Orioles to Dunedin for a spring training battle.

First pitch from TD Ballpark is set for 1:07 p.m. EDT, and the game can be streamed on Sportsnet.

Probable starting pitchers

LHP Easton Lucas (0-1, 7.94 ERA, 5 K) vs. Cade Povich (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 7 K)

Lucas is back on the mound after having back-to-back rough outings for the Blue Jays. He opened his spring with two scoreless innings in the opener before allowing three runs in 1 2/3 innings against Baltimore on Feb. 27 and two runs in two innings against the Pirates in his last outing.

Max Scherzer was supposed to get the start for Toronto, but he was pushed back "out of an abundance of caution" due to a thumb injury.

Lucas will be going against Povich, who is off to a great start this spring. Povich has tossed five scoreless innings in Grapefruit League play while only allowing one hit. He's also struck out seven.

He was initially slated to start the year in the bullpen, but now could break camp in the rotation thanks to an injury to Grayson Rodriguez.

As we get closer to the end of spring training, John Schneider's lineups begin to look more and more like how we think they'll look on Opening Day.

Bichette's spent a lot of time at the top of the lineup this spring, and today's no different. With that, Guerrero's also be a mainstay in the No. 2 spot in the lineup, which, again, could be how we seem him on Opening Day.

Varsho's still not able to play in the field yet but that hasn't stopped him from putting up solid at-bats, while Giménez is finding his groove at the plate after a down year last year.

Straw and Martinez are the two Blue Jays who have impressed the most this spring, and they'll both get a chance to show what they can do against one of the hottest pitchers in the Grapefruit League.
