One really bad inning caused the C’s to lose this one. As they were attempting to hold to a 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 6th everything came unraveled. Clinton Hollon had been pitching well up to this point but failed to record an out in the 6th and for tagged for 3 runs. Michael Kraft came on and did not fair much better as his defense shut down and gave up 3 errors. 5 unearned runs would be allowed due to the errors and chase Kraft from the game. Turner Lee came on and finally stopped the bleeding. The 8 run deficit would prove to be a mountain climb. The C’s scraped 3 runs together in the 8th but would not be able to complete the comeback.
Line of the night
Lane Thomas 2-5 with a pair of doubles, 1 run scored, and an RBI
