Toronto Blue Jays probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. Baltimore Orioles, May 15
Following the rainout from Tuesday evening's contest, the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles will square off in an early afternoon matchup on Wednesday. George Springer is back in the lineup, Chris Bassitt's start has been pushed back and the Jays look to make it two in a row versus a tough division rival.
Probable starting pitchers
- Yusei Kikuchi will instead take the ball in today's game. The soon-to-be 33-year-old has been rock solid this year, posting a 2.64 ERA across eight starts and 47.2 innings of work. He has gone at least six innings in six straight appearances and is doing a lot to boost his value in what is a walk year for him.
- The Orioles will send staff ace Kyle Bradish to the mound to counter Kikuchi. The 27-year-old right-hander only has two starts under his belt this year thanks to an injury to start the season, but he's posted a sharp 1.86 ERA with 14 strikeouts and four walks across 9.2 innings. Bradish is one year removed from a fourth place finish in the AL Cy Young Award voting.
