The game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles that was set to take place on Tuesday May 14 has been officially postponed by MLB due to inclement weather, as rain is set to wreak its havoc this evening at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

When will the Blue Jays and Orioles game be replayed?

The game has been rescheduled as part of a traditional doubleheader on Monday, July 29 in Baltimore. Fans with tickets to the July 29 game will be able to watch both games with their admission. The first game will start at 3:05 p.m. ET, with the second game set to begin about 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.

The broadcast for the doubleheader has been set already for the Orioles as both games can be viewed on MASN and heard on the Orioles Radio Network, including Baltimore’s 98 Rock FM and WBAL NewsRadio AM/FM.

The Blue Jays won a 3-2 nail-biter over the Orioles in extra innings on Monday led by the strong pitching performances of starter José Berríos, along with standout relievers Yimi García and Jordan Romano. They were looking to build upon that momentum on Tuesday before it was called off.

Chris Bassitt was set to take on the Orioles’ Kyle Bradish in the second game of the three-game series. Bassitt had been struggling for the Jays to start the 2024 season, as he has posted a 5.06 ERA and 1.55 WHIP while going 3-5 in eight games to date. For Bradish, he had been strong for the Orioles since coming off the IL just a couple of weeks ago as he has compiled a tidy 1.86 ERA and 1.24 WHIP with 14 strikeouts in just 9.2 innings pitched. Their starts will now be pushed back to the midday finale on Wednesday with an early 12:35 p.m. start time.

Hopefully, the Blue Jays will be able to maintain their boost of confidence gained from Monday’s thrilling win to finally secure a series win tomorrow.
