The Toronto Blue Jays are undoubtedly a team to watch between now and the 2026 MLB Trade Deadline. The 2026 season has just not been going the Blue Jays way so far this season, as they have a 33-36 record and are nine games behind the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees in the American League East standings.
Yet, despite having a losing record, the Blue Jays' playoff hopes are certainly still alive. The Blue Jays are currently trailing the Texas Rangers for the final wild card spot in the American League by just one game. The Athletics are also only a half game ahead of the Blue Jays in the wild card race.
However, the Blue Jays have also had some struggles as of late, losing six out of their last 10 games. Due to this, it would not be surprising if the Blue Jays work hard to bring in some new talent through the trade market.
If the Blue Jays hope to bring in some notable upgrades to their major league roster through the trade market, they are likely going to need to give up some of their prospects to do so. When looking at the Blue Jays' prospect pool, Sean Keys, Jace Bohrofen, Jay Harry, and Eddie Micheletti Jr. all have the potential to generate a lot of interest from this year's sellers.
These four prospects are all in the middle of strong seasons in the minors and are among the Blue Jays' most promising youngsters. Because of this, they could have plenty of suitors as we inch closer to the deadline.
The @BlueJays have had very productive left-handed bats on the @FisherCats roster this season:

Why these four Blue Jays could be on many MLB teams' wish lists
When looking at the numbers that these four Blue Jays prospect are putting together so far this season, it would not be surprising if sellers have them on their radar this season.
Keys has been an animal at the plate this season. In 49 games with Double-A New Hampshire, he has 14 home runs, 34 RBI, and a .285 batting average. He also recently got called up to Triple-A Buffalo, where he has one triple, two doubles, and a .286 batting average. These are impressive numbers and could lead to teams calling,
Bohrofen has certainly impressed so far this season with Double-A New Hampshire. The 24-year-old outfielder has 13 home runs, 34 RBI, and a .253 batting average. With numbers like these, he is showing clear signs of improvement in 2026.
Harry has been thriving this season with Double-A New Hampshire, too, as he has eight home runs, 39 RBI, and an impressive .327 batting average. The 23-year-old's ability to hit for contact is hard to ignore, and he could be a good trade chip for the Blue Jays to include in a package for a high-impact player.
As for Micheletti, he is performing well in his first season in Double-A. In 55 games, he has nine home runs, 30 RBIs, and a .259 batting average. The 24-year-old outfielder is continuing to improve and would be a solid prospect for another club to add from Toronto.
Ultimately, with the Blue Jays' roster needing multiple upgrades, they may end up having no choice but to deal at least one of these soaring prospects. It will be interesting to see what kind of moves the Blue Jays end up making.
