There's no denying that there's plenty of uncertainty surrounding the future of some of the players on the Toronto Blue Jays' MLB roster. But luckily for fans, next week will provide an opportunity to get a first-hand look at some of the players who could lead the next era of Blue Jays baseball.
That firsthand look will come March 15 when the Blue Jays take on the Twins in this year's iteration of the Spring Breakout game.
The Spring Breakout, which was introduced last year, will feature sixteen exhibition games played between teams made up of each MLB organization’s top prospects. The Blue Jays' game against the Twins will start at 1:07 p.m. at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida. The game will be available to steam on Sportsnet.

Here's a look at some of the highlights from the Blue Jays' roster.
Pitchers
The list of pitchers on the roster is highlights by Trey Yesavage, who is the Blue Jays' No. 2 prospect and is ranked as a top-100 prospect in baseball by MLB Pipeline and FanGraphs.
Yesavage has yet to appear in a game for Toronto after being the team's first-round pick in last year's MLB Draft, but it seems like there's a chance the Breakout could serve as his organizational debut.
The Blue Jays also put Jake Bloss on the roster ahead of a season where he could end up making an impact on the big league club. He's struggled this spring, but should still have a big season after coming over at last year's deadline.
Some other pitchers to watch will be Mason Fluharty, Kendry Rojas and Johnny King. One player who won't be involved is prospect Ricky Tiedemann, who is still recovering from Tommy John surgery.
The full list of pitchers is:
- Trey Yesavage RHP
- Jake Bloss, RHP
- Kendry Rojas, LHP
- Khal Stephen, RHP
- Johnny King, LHP
- Juaron Watts-Brown, RHP
- Mason Fluharty, LHP

Catchers
After not having any catchers on the team last year, the Blue Jays will have three catchers play in this year's game in Jacob Sharp, Aaron Parker and Brock Tibbitts.
None of them are ranked in the Blue Jays' top 30 prospects by MLB Pipeline, but Sharp was acquired from the Mariners last year as a part of the return from Yimi García and is currently in MLB camp as a Non-Roster Invitee.
Infielders
Arjun Nimmala has already had a busy spring training. Not only was he named the organization No. 1 prospect by MLB Pipeline, but he's also crushed two home runs in MLB camp.
Now he'll get a chance to impress in his second striaght Spring Breakout. He's still just 19 and likely won't fit into Toronto's big league picture until 2026 at the earlier, but this is just another impressive accomplishment for rising prospect.

Orelvis Martinez and Alan Roden has had a strong start to spring, and he'll be hoping that carries over into the Breakout Game as well. Martinez made his big league debut last season, and has the power to make an impact at the big league level for the Blue Jays.

- Orelvis Martinez, 2B/3B

Roden's already impressed the team's decision makers, and he'll have a chance to show off his stuff to the rest of the baseball world in the Breakout Game.
He won't be the only riser to man the outfielder in the game, as eight of the nine outfielders playing in the game are ranked in as a top-30 prospect in the organization per MLB Pipeline.
The full list of outfielders is:
- Alan Roden
- Charles McAdoo, OF
