It was a mixed bag for Canadians pitching against the Aqua Sox. Francisco Rios got things started and allowed 1 run through 3 innings of work. Josh DeGraaf came on and got hit hard for 2 more runs in his 1 innings of work. DeGraaf allowed 3 hits and walked 2 in that innings. Brandon Hinkle allowed only 1 hit in 3 innings of work and would eventually be awarded the win. Andrew Case then shut the door and picked up his 5 save on the season.
The C’s got things off to a hot start as the piled on 3 runs in the first inning. The offense would not keep that pace though. The C’s mounted a comeback late and were able to score a run in each of the last 2 innings that would be good for the win. Justin Atkinson collected 2 doubles and was 2-4 for the game with an RBI. Andrew Guillotte collected 3 hits out of the lead off spot and kept the offense going.
Line of the night
Andrew Guillotte 3-5 with a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base
