Pitching for both sides had issues in this game. Jesus Tinoco worked hard through 6 innings and was able to grind out a quality start. He did allow all 4 runs to the Cubs on 8 hits but was able to strike out 4. Dusty Isaacs gets the win as he pitched the remaining 3 innings and and shut down the Cubs for the remainder.
On offense the Lugnuts strung enough consistency together that they were able to slowly take the win from the Cubs. A couple 2 run innings mixed in with a pair of 1 run innings proved to be enough. Both teams collected 11 hits in the game but the runs piled up in favor of the Lugnut attack. Josh Almonte stole a pair of bases and scored twice. Michael De La Cruz also stole a base and collected 2 hits with an RBI. A well balanced offense won this game for the Lugnuts
Line of the game
Josh Almonte 1-3 with 2 runs scored, a double, and 2 stolen bases
