Buffalo Bisons vs Toledo Mud Hens (Loss 2-5)

Daniel Norris once again shows just how dominate he can be.  He sent 9 Mud Hens back to the bench Sunday in only 6 innings of work.  He did walk 3 and give up two runs also.  As Norris continued to work well the Bisons offense stumbled and was only able to produce 2 runs.  Both Carlo Gindl and Luke Scott recorded RBI doubles.  The Bisons bullpen held the Mud Hens in check until Chad Jenkins gave up a solo home run to Daniel Fields in the 12th.  The home run ignited the Toledo offense to score a total of 3 runs in the 12th.  In the Bisons half they were able to load the bases but that was short lived when a double play killed all hopes of a rally.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats vs Binghampton Mets (Win 5-0)

Cats ride a stellar pitching performance to a victory.  Matt Boyd continues to impress as he pitched 7 shut out innings.  He scattered 7 Mets hits and only allowed 1 walk.  He was also able to stack up 4 strikeouts during his work.  Danny Barnes then came on to finish the game with another 2 innings of shut out work.  Offensively the Cats had one huge outburst in the 8th.  Berti walked to start off the rally in the 8th and then it just kept on coming.  The flood gates opened to the tune of 5 runs to solidify a victory with a solid pitching performance.

Dunedin Blue Jays vs Lakeland Flying Tigers (Loss 3-6)

A decent start by Jairo Labourt goes to waste.  He tossed 5 innings and allowed only the one run.  He then gave way to the pen which caused disaster.  Brady Dragmire gave up 4 runs on 3 hits and sealed the fate for the Jays.  Mitch Nay tried to get things started in the 9th with a home run but there was no rally to speak of after the homer.
