A couple of Toronto Blue Jays have taken to social media in an attempt to try and recruit a superstar to come north. First, Myles Straw sent Tucker a funny message about baby sitting his child, after Tucker and his wife announced they were expecting.

Now, it's Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s turn to get the rumor mill rolling again after he posted on Tucker's feed a few days ago. The post, an emoji and not an actual message, was more than enough to cause some excitement.

Tucker sent out an Instagram post that said, "Full Throttle" followed by a fire emoji to which Vladdy replied with the "big eyes" emoji back. The Blue Jays have frequently been linked to Tucker and for the second time this offseason now, a current member of the Blue Jays has interacted with the superstar free agent outfielder.

Vladdy though is one of the most popular players in the game today and both he and Tucker have played on three AL All-Star teams together, and were All-Star opponents this past season as well when Guerrero represented the Blue Jays at the mid-summer classic and Tucker was there as a member of the Chicago Cubs. So it's not far-fetched to think that Guerrero, being incredibly outgoing, hasn't struck up a friendship with Tucker at some point over the past few years.

But it was enough to get social media chatting about the possibility of the two players joining forces and playing for the Blue Jays. After all, it took place following what was a relatively slow Winter Meetings session for the Blue Jays. Before the meetings they had announced the signing of Dylan Cease, and then officially announced the signing of Cody Ponce. But with the Blue Jays said to be in on some of the biggest names on the free agent market, there wasn't much movement in that direction.

Coming out of the meetings though, the Blue Jays added two arms to the bullpen, trading for Chris Lee and signing free agent Tyler Rogers, continuing what has been an active offseason in Toronto to bolster the pitching staff.
