May 22, 7-6 win (11 innings) vs San Diego: After outscoring the Padres 17-0 during the first two games of the series, the finale at Rogers Centre had a much different feel. May 26, 2-1 win @ Texas - May 28, 2-0 win @ Texas: Kevin Gausman shoves in the 2-1 win. The veteran throws eight innings, strikes out six and allows one run on a home run in the bottom of the fourth as the offense did just enough to squeak out the win.
Two days later, it's again the offense doing just enough as Bo Bichette delivers a two-out, two-run, pinch hit home run in the top of the ninth. Meanwhile the Blue Jays use five different pitches who combine to allow one-hit and 13 strikeouts. That one hit was leadoff hitter Josh Smith who singled in the bottom of the first, and the Blue Jays proceed to get 27 outs without allowing a hit.
June 4, 2-1 win vs Philadelphia: Facing his former battery mate in closer Jordan Romano, Kirk had an opportunity to win the game with two out in the ninth and the winning run on second base. After a six pitch at-bat, on a 2-2 count, Kirk smacked the seventh pitch to deep right field and the ball hit off the top of the wall, cashing in Guerrero from second and picked up a big win over the Phillies. That sparked a four game win streak, and led to the Blue Jays winning seven of their next eight games.
June 17, 5-4 win vs Arizona: Down 4-3 going into the bottom of the ninth, Bichette hit a one-out solo home run to tie the game 4-4. A few pitches later, Barger ends the game with a solo shot of his own, as the Blue Jays hit back-to-back jacks to walk off the Diamondbacks.
June 27, 9-0 win @ Boston: José Berrios was dealing as he cruised through seven innings of four-hit ball at Fenway Park and struck out eight Boston hitters, walking just one, en-route to their biggest shutout win over a division rival so far.
