Sportsnet has officially announced their broadcasting team that will cover the Toronto Blue Jays in 2026. The coverage will start against the Athletics on March 27 at 7:07 PM, which is Opening Day.
There weren't many surprises to the broadcasting team. The biggest change that fans will need to get used to is Buck Martinez, who after 40 years within the organization has decided to hang up the headset. Although, fans will get to see Buck next year when he's inducted into the Blue Jays new "Hall of Excellence" in August. That leaves a huge hole in the booth alongside Dan Shulman for Sportsnet's TV coverage.
Changes in the Broadcast Booth
First up, as alluded to above, the change within the broadcasting booth. With Martinez retiring, Shulman will need an analyst alongside his play-by-play commentary. Sportsnet has announced that Joe Siddall and Caleb Joseph will share the duties.

Both Siddall and Joseph are former MLB players and have spent time with Jamie Campbell on Blue Jays Central. However, now they will split time in the broadcast booth calling the games. Their job isn't going to be easy, they have some very, very big shoes to fill. But we know they will try their best.
The Rest of the Broadcast Team Unveiled
With Siddall and Joseph sharing duties alongside Shulman, that means Madison Shipman is going to be the main analyst on Blue Jays Central with Campbell as the anchor. They will be joined by either Siddall or Joseph, whoever isn’t in the booth calling the game. However, it does seem like Joseph will be appearing on Blue Jays Central more.
On-field coverage is staying the same. The legendary Hazel Mae is returning to lead the on-the-field coverage. She will be joined by Arden Zwelling. Their role, for those who aren’t sure, is to provide updates from the clubhouse and dugout before, during, and after the game. That leaves Ben Nicholson-Smith and Shi Davidi to report on team news. This is the stuff that every sports fan loves. The team rumours, insight from around the MLB, and breaking news.
The radio booth will be staying the same. Ben Shulman and Chris Leroux will be calling the games. Shulman is the play-by-play voice and Leroux is the analyst. The call will be on Sportsnet 590 The Fan.
On top of that, for everyday updates regarding the club, the radio shows, TV shows, and podcasts all return for another season. Jeff Blair and Kevin Barker return for another season of Blair & Barker, which airs each weekday. They will also have Jays Talk after every Blue Jays game. Blake Murphy returns for another year of his show, Jays Talk Plus, which airs weekly Monday through Friday throughout the season. It is scheduled to return in May.
As for podcasts, Nicholson-Smith and Zwelling have their podcast At The Letters, which can be found wherever you get your podcasts. Lastly, exclusive interviews and news regarding all things Blue Jays, provided by Davidi, Nicholson-Smith, Zwelling, and David Singh, can be found on Sportsnet.ca or the Sportsnet app.
