The righty has had his fair share of ups and downs so far, posting a 5.18 ERA and 83 ERA+ in 33 innings of work, but he's been a solid inning-eater for the Blue Jays and is coming off of a start in which he struck out seven against the Mariners.

• Opposite Bassitt will be 43-year-old Rich Hill, whose body somehow still has not failed him after almost two decades in the big leagues. Hill was brought aboard by the Pirates on a cheap one-year deal with the anticipation being he'd eat innings on a rebuilding team. Instead, him and his 108 ERA+ have been a bright spot on this club through six outings and 32.1 innings.
