At 64-50, the Toronto Blue Jays continue to roll, most recently winning in 3-1 fashion over the AL Central's Cleveland Guardians. Thanks to a shutdown performance by the Jays bullpen and Cavan Biggio's heroics, the Jays held on to win Monday night's contest, giving them their fourth in a row. Prior to this evening's game, the Blue Jays placed Kevin Kiermaier on the injured list with a right elbow laceration and recalled outfielder Nathan Lukes from Triple-A Buffalo.

Probable starting pitchers

  • Left-hander Yusei Kikuchi is set to make his 23rd start of the year for the Blue Jays. The 32-year-old is coming off of two straight starts one-run ball through six innings of work, and has continued to impress after a rough season in 2022. Kikuchi's numbers on the year have him at a 9-3 win-loss record with a 3.67 ERA, 4.68 FIP and 113 ERA+ through just over 115 innings of work on the mound.
  • For the Guardians, right-hander Tanner Bibee is going to take the mound for his 18th start of the year. The right-hander is yet another rookie on this Guardians club that has showed immense promise in his first year in the big leagues. Through 94.2 innings this season, the 24-year-old is 7-2 with a 3.14 ERA, 3.87 FIP and 133 ERA+. After Gavin Williams gave Blue Jays batters fits in last night's contest, Bibee is going to be another tough opponent on the mound.
