With the difficult 6-2 loss by the Blue Jays at the hands of the Orioles on Friday, the former has officially moved into a tie for last place in the American League East division. It seems as if all other AL East teams are riding win streaks while the Jays have struggled putting together consistent wins lately. The club will look to take out the second-place Orioles in Saturday afternoon's contest.

Probable starting pitchers

  • For the Blue Jays, right-hander Alek Manoah will make his 10th start of the season. The 25-year-old continues to have a difficult time getting batters out with any sort of consistency and is coming off of a start in which he walked a career-high seven batters against the Yankees. On the year, he has a 5.40 ERA, 6.45 FIP and an ERA+ of just 78.
  • The Orioles are set to send out youngster Grayson Rodriguez, who is one of the club's top prospects. Rodriguez, 23, will be making the ninth start of the season (and his career) and, like Manoah, has had some troubles getting through opposing batting orders unscathed. In 37 innings, he has struck out 44 batters but has also given up 27 runs, including nine home runs.
