Boasting a record of 28-30, the Toronto Blue Jays currently sit in last place in the American League East. The club is still in a tie with the Rays for fourth/fifth place and is just one game behind the Red Sox for third in the division. Coming to town next take on the City Connect-wielding Jays is the always dangerous Baltimore Orioles, who are 37-20, which is good for one of the best winning percentages in the game. The Orioles just promoted one of their top prospects, Connor Norby, who will be debuting in Monday evening's contest against the Jays.

Probable starting pitchers

  • Norby will be tasked with facing off against one of the game's premier right-handers in Kevin Gausman. The 12-year veteran hasn't quite looked like himself this year, but he's been slowly turning things around. He''s gone six innings in each of his last three starts and is only two outings removed from a 10-strikeout showing against the Tigers. On the season, the 33-year-old is 4-3 with a 4.14 ERA, 3.11 FIP and 94 ERA+.
  • Opposing Gausman will be former top prospect Grayson Rodriguez. The right-hander will be making his 10th start of the season and, like Gausman, has been decent but not great. Rodriguez, 24, is 5-2 with a 3.53 ERA, 3.44 FIP and 105 ERA+. Also like Gausman, he just recently had a 10-strikeout performance, his coming against the Red Sox last time out.
