Toronto Blue Jays probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. Baltimore Orioles, June 14
The Blue Jays are set to take on the Baltimore Orioles for the second of a three-game set.
After Tuesday night's total meltdown from the Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff, I think we can all agree that it's best to move on and focus on what's next. The 37-31 Blue Jays are set to take on the second-place Baltimore Orioles (42-24) who have gone from the laughingstock of the AL East to a very real threat.
Probable starting pitchers
- Right-hander José Berríos is set to make his 14th start of the year and first against Baltimore. Berríos, 29, is 6-4 so far with a 3.61 ERA, 3.86 FIP and 112 ERA+. It seems as though the former Twins ace is getting into his groove and turning things around after he led the American League in hits and earned runs in 2022.
- The Orioles are sending a right-hander of their own to the mound in Kyle Bradish. The 26-year-old has made 11 starts for the club this season and is right around league-average across the board. In a total of 53 innings, he has a 2-2 record with an ERA of 4.25 and an ERA+ right at 100. Bradish, like Berríos is in the midst of a bounceback season after scuffling a bit last year.
