At long last, the Toronto Blue Jays' 2024 schedule is complete with start times. The upcoming season is sure to be a promising one for the club, as it's largely going to be the same unit as we saw last year. Sure, that team wasn't quite able to put it all together and make a deep postseason run, but there was a lot of factors to be happy with.
To date, the only additions the Blue Jays have made are the re-signings of Chad Green and Kevin Kiermaier, as well as the newly-signed utilityman Isiah Kiner-Falefa. There are sure to be more moves coming, so the squad we see during the 2024 regular season is likely going to look different than it does right at this moment.
As was the case in 2023, the vast majority of the Blue Jays' home games on weekdays are around 7:07pm ET, aside from a few random dates where the club will be traveling the next day. Those typically start around 3:07pm ET.
The regular season is set to end with Game 162 on September 29th, which will be a home game against the Miami Marlins. The final contest of the year is set to begin at 3:07pm ET.
Important dates from the Blue Jays 2024 regular season schedule
Opening Day
The first game of the regular season will be on Thursday, April 28 against the Tampa Bay Rays. This is going to be an away game for the Blue Jays and will begin at or around 4:10pm ET. It's going to be interesting to see what the Rays look like by the time the season rolls around, as trade rumors have been flying around their team as of late. The club always operates in penny-pinching mode, and this offseason has been no different.
Home Opener
The first home game of the year is going to fall on Monday, April 8 and the foe will be the Seattle Mariners. This will kick off a nine-game homestand and will allow fans to finally see the second phase of Rogers Centre renovations for themselves.
Mother's and Father's Day
On Sunday, May 12, the Blue Jays will host the Minnesota Twins for a Mother's Day matchup. Father's Day will see the Cleveland Guardians come to town on Sunday, June 16.
All-Star break
The final set of games before the 2024 All-Star break (which runs from July 15 to July 19) will take place on the road for the Blue Jays. The club will be in Arizona taking on the Diamondbacks for a three-game weekend series. The first two contests will start at 9:40pm and 10:10pm ET, respectively, so prepare to stay up late to catch those ones.
