The Blue Jays had one of the most impressive results of the season this week, throttling the MLB best Tampa Bay Rays 20-1, but the team couldn't follow it up losing 7-3 as the team can get at best a split in this weekday series.

Toronto will send out Alek Manoah to get a series split on Thursday in hopes of him finding his All-Star form, but it will be a tough go against the best offense in baseball in the Rays, who counter with Zach Eflin.

Here's our best bet on the over/under for Thursday's series finale, but first the odds:

Blue Jays vs. Rays odds, run line and total

Blue Jays vs. Rays prediction and pick

Manoah has been in poor form all year long, posting a 5.15 ERA while walking nearly as many batters (33) as striking them out (40). It has been a dramatic fall for Manoah, who now has to face the best lineup in baseball that leads the big leagues in slugging percentage.

The Rays should continue to plate runs, but the Blue Jays offense is also elite and should have a strong outing against Eflin, who is starting to regress to the mean. He has allowed 11 earned runs over his last three starts and now faces a Blue Jays lineup that has the second highest batting average against right handed pitching this season (.270).

Both pitchers are going to be outclassed by the opposing lineup that this should be the fourth consecutive over game between the two teams.
