Blue Jays Spring Training 2023: Where do games take place and where to buy tickets?
Now that the Super Bowl is behind us (what a game that was), it's officially time for everyone to turn their collective attentions towards baseball.
Monday is the first day that players are beginning to report to Spring Training around Major League Baseball, including the crew for the Toronto Blue Jays.
The top storylines entering Spring games center around top prospects (primarily Ricky Tiedemann), bounce backs from José Berríos and Yusei Kikuchi and how the non-roster invitees play into the cards for a spot on the Opening Day roster.
For the Jays, TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida has been their home Spring Training stadium for over 40 years. This venue is also the home ballpark for the club's Low-A minor league affiliate, the Dunedin Blue Jays.
For this year's Spring Training schedule, MLB.com has both a downloadable/printable one as well as a schedule to view online. The Blue Jays will play a total of 33 Grapefruit League games this year, 16 at home and 17 on the road.
In the Grapefruit League, the Jays are joined by the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays and the Washington Nationals.
Thanks to the new rules regarding interleague play for the upcoming season, the additional exposure to some of the National League squads could play into the Jays' favor since there is more of an opportunity to get reps against teams they don't usually see much of.
TicketNetwork has pricing and availability for all home games on the schedule for the 2023 Jays, follow the link here for more information. Ticket information and pricing is also readily available directly on MLB.com at the link here.
Below is the written out schedule for the Jays, as well as opponent and venue.
