The Blue Jays are rightful big time favorites against the Athletics, but with such a steep price, I think there's more value in betting on the total.

Jose Berrios is coming off a tough start against the Marlins, but he's still had a fantastic month of June, sporting a 3.04 ERA this month. Now, he gets to face arguably the worst offense in the Majors in the Athletics.

With that being said, the Blue Jays also have some cause for concern when it comes to the pitcher they're facing. Hogan Harris has a solid 4.45 ERA so far this season, but it's more so the fact he's a lefty that may cause issue for Toronto.

The Jays have struggled against lefties all season and over their last 30 days they rank 24th in MLB in OPS against left-handed pitchers.

With the total set at 8.5, I think the value is on the UNDER as I suspect both pitchers to have solid starts.
