After a cold winter and red-hot spring, Opening Day is here this week, which means the Blue Jays are back in action.

This year, they’ll open the season at Rogers Centre with a game against the Baltimore Orioles in a game that’ll generate plenty of eyeballs across Canada and otherwise.

Here’s how you can watch the game.

How to watch the Blue Jays’ Opening Day game against the Orioles

The Blue Jays’ home opener is on Thursday at 3:07 p.m. EDT from Rogers Centre, and will be broadcast on Sportsnet if you’re in Toronto. It’ll also be on MASN2 for viewers located in the Orioles’ broadcast area.

For fans not in either area, the game will be available on MLB.tv, where you’ll be able to choose between each team’s broadcast.

Almost every Blue Jays game this season will be available on Sportsnet, outside of the games that are only broadcast on national television.

We get one of those games early, as the Blue Jays’ second game of the season will only be available on Apple TV+. Apple TV+ is $9.99/month (though there is a seven-day free trial available).

The Jays will return the same broadcast team of Dan Shulman, Buck Martinez, Jamie Campbell, Joe Siddall, Hazel Mae and Arden Zwelling. Shulman and Martinez will be in the booth on Opening Day.

Sportsnet can be streamed in a variety of different ways through the internet. The main options are FuboTV and DirecTV stream, though Hulu Live + TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV are also solid options.

Canadian viewers can also subscribe to Sportsnet+ and gain access to up to 162 games during the regular season, as well as every MLB postseason game.

The standard plans start at $199.99 a year for the "standard" package, or $249.99 a year ($20.83 per month) for the "premium" package. This is not available to viewers outside of Canada.

There are a variety of MLB.tv subscriptions available. The main MLB.tv offering with every team is $29.99/month. There’s also an option to watch just the Blue Jays for a flat rate of $129.99 for the season.  Those packages are available here.
