Fantasy Sleeper
Sleepers can often become the difference maker between two evenly-matched fantasy teams. But to find one that can deliver results that a typical elite star player does could instantly propel managers to surprising victories. The Blue Jays have recently introduced one with the pitching stud below.
P Trey Yesavage
After seeing his scintillating debut for the Jays this week, Trey Yesavage appears ready for the big show, joining the likes of young pitching phenoms Jason Misiorowski, Nolan McLean, Jonah Tong and others this season.
Yesavage looked dominant, striking out nine while giving up just one earned run on three hits over five innings of work in a no-decision against the Rays. He is expected to make at least another start this weekend and perhaps one more appearance next week, making him a hot waiver wire commodity if he hasn’t been picked up in your league yet.
Yesavage could be a surprise difference maker for Toronto in the coming weeks, and for fantasy managers to put them over the top.
