Home sweet Dome! The 2025 Toronto Blue Jays have just accomplished something no other team has been able to do in the 48 year history of this franchise. They have strung together 11 straight wins at home, surpassing the record set by the 1985 team.
The latest win was courtesy of a 4-1 victory on Monday night over the New York Yankees, which also expands Toronto's AL East division lead to four games over the Bronx Bombers.

Blue Jays set franchise record for consecutive home wins
It's also the longest winning streak since the Blue Jays moved to the Rogers Centre (formerly Skydome) as the ‘85 Blue Jays still played at Exhibition Stadium. In '85, on July 21, the Blue Jays beat the Oakland A’s 11-4 in the finale of a three game series to start the streak.
They proceeded to sweep the Seattle Mariners in three games and then disposed of the California Angels in four games to get the streak to eight straight wins. They went on the road and took three of four from Baltimore, then came back home to host the Rangers. The Blue Jays beat Texas in back to back games, getting the streak to straight, before the Rangers avoided the sweep on Sunday, August 4, an 8-4 finale.
The 2025 Blue Jays started their streak on Monday, June 30 in a 5-4 win over the Yankees. Max Scherzer out dueled Carlos Rodón, striking out seven Yankees batters in five innings, while the Blue Jays grinded out three runs in the bottom of the sixth, all on RBI singles, to take a 5-3 lead they would not relinquish.
The Blue Jays streak includes a four game sweep of the Yankees, a three game sweep of the LA Angels and another three game sweep of the Giants, before opening this current three game series against the Yankees with a win.
The Blue Jays are now 36-16 at home, which is the best home record in baseball. Their 69 home runs at home are fifth in MLB this season, with 277 runs scored ranks third. On the pitching side, the Blue Jays have racked up 504 strikeouts at home, second most in MLB, while allowing just 212 runs against, which is fourth in the AL. During the streak they have outscored their opponents 69-41 over this streak, while winning four of those games by a single run.
