The 2026 MLB season is approaching, and as the Toronto Blue Jays begin preparations for their 50th season, they are starting to reveal their 2026 promotional schedule.
Toronto announced its intention to unveil a new Joe Carter statue on February 2nd, which kicked off the giveaway announcements with the World Series replica rings and replica statue for July and August, respectively. The next day, on February 3rd, the Blue Jays announced the first wave of giveaways for March and April.

First four giveaways have been announced for 2026

Opening night will already be a special day with the celebrations for the Blue Jays' 50th season and (assuming it would be) the 2025 American League Champions banner being raised to the rafters.
It's only fitting that the first giveaway of the season is the fans' own pennant banner to display at home, featuring the team photo taken after they beat the Seattle Mariners in seven games and the players' autographs.
If the thought of "why are you celebrating second place?" kicks in, think about the fact that the Seattle Mariners and 13 other teams in the AL would've loved the opportunity to play in the World Series. Yes, the page must turn to 2026 as they try to go back to the Fall Classic, but there is nothing wrong with celebrating the accomplishment of their first World Series birth in 32 years.

Who doesn't love it when the Blue Jays use their white panel caps? When Jeff Hoffman, back in September, suggested the team use the white panels the rest of the way, it was met with overwhelming approval from the fanbase. The classic white panel look, which dates back to the franchise's early days, will never grow out of style.
Naturally, why wouldn't you give away a white panel that was well represented during the 2025 playoff run en route to the World Series? It'll most likely be an adjustable cap, but expect other styles like the classic New Era fitted with that patch to be available in some other capacity.

To round out Opening Weekend at the Rogers Centre, the final American League Champions-related giveaway is a classic white crewneck featuring the 2025 AL Champs logo. Again, celebrating a massive accomplishment is never a bad thing.
More likely than not, this will only be available in large sizes, as is typical for clothing giveaways. However, crew necks are comfortable, and why wouldn't you want to wear them out and about (if they fit)?
"Jumping" George Springer Bobblehead - April 10

Finally, to conclude the opening wave of giveaways, it's an item that fans will line up very early for at the Rogers Centre. It's the first of many bobbleheads and only makes sense that George Springer gets the first honor with a jump that'll stay in the minds of Blue Jays fans forever.
The "jumping" look is reminiscent of the towering jump Springer made after knocking out the decisive three-run home run off Eduard Bazardo in the seventh inning of Game 7. It was Springer's "Jose Bautista" and "Joe Carter" moment for this current generation of Blue Jays fans.
With a stadium that holds over 40,000, only giving this away to the first 15,000 fans at entry seems short. Items like bobbleheads should be available in larger quantities, especially for such a large stadium. The hype for a giveaway like this will only grow, and expect fans to show up two to three hours before gates open.
The Blue Jays will continue to release the rest of their giveaways throughout the week.
