The Toronto Blue Jays have seen the rise of several top prospects in their system in recent years, Trey Yesavage leads the way in that regard, but the Blue Jays have also promoted Yohendrick Piñango, Brandon Valenzuela and Sean Keys this season. As a result, the future looks bright for the Jays with regards to homegrown talent that could ultimately provide a huge impact on the MLB team.
The Blue Jays have also gotten great performances out of top prospects on the farm that came into the system as highly regarded youngsters. That includes JoJo Parker, Juan Sanchez and Arjun Nimmala.
Well, down on the farm there is an intriguing new top prospect Blue Jays' fans should put on their watch list as Blaine Bullard just had a breakout performance. Bullard won MiLB Florida State League Player of the Week honours after going 9-for-20 with three doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs with the Blue Jays’ Single-A affiliate in Dunedin this past week.

The future of the Blue Jays outfield looks bright with the rising outfield prospect
The 19-year-old outfielder was taken late in the 12th round of the 2025 MLB Draft out of Klein Cain High School. However, Bullard has certainly been quite the surprise so far in his professional baseball debut this year in the Blue Jays organization.
Currently ranked No. 14 among the Blue Jays’ top prospects list according to MLB Pipeline, the outfielder has compiled a solid .268 batting average, .763 OPS, together with 47 runs scored, 15 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 45 RBIs and an impressive 30 stolen bases in just 34 attempts over 73 total games played with Dunedin.

More significantly, Bullard has gotten better and better as the year has progressed. For the month of July alone, Bullard has posted a strong .333/.413/.590 slash line with a 1.003 OPS, along with seven runs scored, four doubles, two home runs, 11 RBIs and three stolen bases in just 11 total games of action to date.
On top of that, Bullard hasn’t been too shabby with his play in the field as well, having accumulated a solid .985 fielding percentage together with six outfield assists in 131 total chances while taking reps in all three positions in the outfield with Dunedin. As a result, the Blue Jays top prospect has been putting his bat, power, speed and fielding on full display in just his first season with the organization.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Bullard gets a well-deserved promotion to the next level before the 2026 season is done. Nevertheless, if all goes to plan, the Jays could very well have their next homegrown outfield star in the making as we speak.
