The future of the Toronto Blue Jays is starting to look even brighter following Baseball America's newest update to its Top 100 prosects list.

After having two players on the list, they have three Blue Jays on the updated list: Arjun Nimmala (58), Ricky Tiedemann (95), and Trey Yesavage (98).

The Blue Jays having three players on this list a great sign ahead of this year's MLB Draft, as the Blue Jays could add a new player to that based on who they select. Here's how those three prospects have been doing this season.

Baseball America’s latest rankings shows how much talent is in the Blue Jays’ system

Arjun Nimmala

Nimmala is the highest ranked prospect in the list, and for good reason. He's off to a great start this season with the High-A Vancouver Canadians, and seems ticketed to a promotion to Double-A soon.

The 19-year-old is hitting .280 with seven home runs and 15 RBI through 29 games this year, which is a tangible example of the power that he holds in his slender frame. He's also getting on base at a good clip (.348 on-base percentage) and isn't striking out a ton (21.3%).

He's the future of the Blue Jays' system, and he's played like it so far this year.

Ricky Tiedemann

Tiedemann comes in at the No. 95 prospect on the list despite missing all of the year due to injury. He only tossed 17 1/3 innings last year before undergoing Tommy John surgery, and it seems like there's an outside chance that he could return this season.

Tiedemann was once the top prospect in the Blue Jays system, and was once the top left-handed pitching prospect in baseball.

He doesn't have the same kind of prestige due to that injury and ineffectiveness (5.06 ERA in 32 Double-A innings in 2023; 5.19 ERA in 17 1/3 innings in 2024 prior to injury), but his inclusion on this shows that evaluators are still bullish on his potential.

Trey Yesavage

Yesavage comes in at No. 98 after the Blue Jays selected him in the first round in last year's MLB Draft. He was a big time prospect coming out of the draft and has lived up to the hype so far in Single-A Dunedin. If he keeps things up, he should be significantly higher up in the rankings n

Yesavage has posted a 2.22 ERA across 28 1/3 innings this year in Single-A to go along with a 2.15 FIP. He also has a WHIP of 0.81 and has held opposing batters to a batting average of .152, He's also due for a promotion.

These three prospects make the Blue Jays' future look a bit brighter.

Both Nimmala and Yesavage have had electric starts to the year, while Tiedemann has been lights out when he's healthy. All three of them are big parts of the Blue Jays' future plans, and it's exciting to see them get some recognition from such a big national outlet.
