Hill was one of the most underrated players in all of baseball in 2009, as he put together one of the best seasons in his 13-year MLB career.

Hill set career-highs with 36 home runs, 108 RBI and 195 hits. Hill also had a solid .286 batting average, .499 slugging percentage and .829 OPS — stats that helped him earn his first career Silver Slugger.

That season would be the peak of Hill's time in Toronto, however. He hit just .205 in 2010 and was hitting .225 through 104 games in 2011 before he was traded to the Diamondbacks.

His best season outside of Toronto came in 2012 when he hit .302 with 26 home runs and 85 RBI for the Diamondbacks to earn his second Silver Slugger along with getting some down-ballot MVP votes.

Hill retired following a 34 game stint with the Giants in 2017.
