While the 2000s were largely a lost decade for the Blue Jays since the team didn't have a single postseason apperance, they still had some talented All-Stars play for them across that 10-year span.
From Hall of Famer Roy Halladay, to Carlos Delgado, Vernon Wells and even Alex Rios, the Blue Jays had some big-name players to make the All-Star Game over the course of the 2000s. However, they also had some unheralded All-Stars across the decade as well.
So, like we already did with the 2010s, here's a look some forgotten Blue Jays All-Stars from the 2000s.
3 Blue Jays All-Stars from the 2000s you might have forgotten about
3B Tony Batista (2000)
While Batista played in 324 career games with the Blue Jays from 1999-'01, 2000 was his one and only one full season in a Blue Jays uniform, which also coincided with the first All-Star nod of his career.
Batista set career-highs with 41 home runs, 114 RBI and 163 hits in 2000 while also tying his career-high in slugging with .519. Not only is Batista's 2000 season is one of the most underrated seasons in Blue Jays history, it also tends to be one of the most forgotten since the Blue Jays finished the year third in the American League East.
Batista would make the All-Star Game one more time in 2002 as a member of the Baltimore Orioles.
