A look at some of the latest Toronto Blue Jays news and notes including updates on Pat Tabler, David Price and more.

Tabler Officially A Tweeter

The Colour Analyst for the Blue Jays has officially entered the world of social media as Pat Tabler is now on Twitter for your following pleasure. Tabler fired off his second-ever tweet yesterday as he teed up the Sunday Rewind game versus the Kansas City Royals.

Tabler has 422 followers to date while he is only following three Sportsnet/Blue Jays related accounts. You can follow Pat at @TablerPat.

Price Playing Pranks

David Price and his wife Tiffany decided to keep things light during these trying times centered around social distancing and quarantines.

The couple pranked their young son with the #poopchallenge2020 joke which the young Price did not find amusing. The video below should put a smile on your face if nothing else.

GoGo Golfs With Mookie

Former Blue Jays infielder Ryan Goins recently celebrated his birthday in style with a golf foursome that included Mookie Betts.

Goins inked a deal with the Oakland Athletics this past offseason and was enjoying a nice spring prior to the stoppage. The 32-year old had notched six hits which were good enough for a .300 batting average in 20 at-bats this spring.

Campbell Going Above And Beyond

Jamie Campbell has been calling Canadians around the country during the pandemic stoppage to offer a word of advice or just to chat during this crazy time. Thus far, Campbell has already reached out to more than 200 fans who the majority are older and could be in the need of some company.

A truly remarkable gesture on the part of Mr. Campbell. Hats off to you, keep up the great work.

Borucki Benefitting From Layoff

Ryan Borucki probably has the most to gain from the stoppage as it was anticipated the hurler would not be ready to go for Opening Day due to shoulder soreness.

Next. Blue Jays rosters frozen and a 29-man roster forthcoming. dark

Borucki will presumably be healthy and ready to challenge Trent Thornton for that fifth spot in the rotation when the season finally kicks off.
