Fisher Cats release Heidt
According to the official transactions page of the Double-A Eastern League, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats have released SS Gunnar Heidt.
Heidt, 26, was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 13th round of the 2014 MLB draft and, most recently, slashed .176/.263/.294 in 14 games with the Fisher Cats.
GCL Blue Jays release De Los Santos
The Gulf Coast League (GCL) Blue Jays have released RHP Alvery De Los Santos, the GCL transactions page indicates.
De Los Santos, 19, signed with the Blue Jays as an international free agent on August 22, 2016, and has since tossed 41.2 innings with the GCL club, boasting an ERA of 4.10 in seven starts, striking out 24 and walking eight.
Gunnar Heidt has versatility on the field, and so far has played 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, LF--and he can fish, surf, and golf!

The Dominican Summer League (DSL) began playing games on June 1st, and the DSL Blue Jays roster is taking shape.
