The most wonderful time of year is finally here as Opening Day is just hours away as the Toronto Blue Jays play host to the New York Yankees in what should make for an exciting 4-game series to get the season officially started.

With just over 5-hours until first pitch, the Toronto Blue Jays have still yet to announce their 25-man roster. However, we have learned that John Axford will wear #77, Tyler Clippard #36, Seung-hwan Oh #22 and Jaime Garcia #57 so they have all made the team which is no surprise.

There still has been no update on the Troy Tulowitzki injury prognosis or the future of Danny Espinosa seeing the manager announced Gift Ngoepe would break camp with the team. According to Hazel Mae of Sportsnet, the Roy Halladay ceremony will take place at 3:28 followed by player introductions and first pitch at 4:07 p.m.

J.A Happ will toe the rubber opposite Luis Severino of the Yankees to kick things off. The 24-year old hurler had a breakout campaign last season going 14-6 with a 2.98 earned run average and a 5.3 WAR in 31 starts for the Bronx Bombers.

The rest of the pitching matchups for the remainder of the series look like this:

Game 2: NYY- Masahiro Tanaka– TOR Aaron Sanchez

Game 3: NYY- C.C. Sabathia– TOR- Marco Estrada

Game 4: NYY- Sonny Gray– TOR- Marcus Stroman

The Yankees Opening Day lineup was released earlier this morning and features Aaron Judge in the number two hole followed by Giancarlo Stanton third and catcher Gary Sanchez hitting cleanup.
