Buffalo Bisons @ Pawtucket Red Sox (Win 7-0)
Two big innings led to the Bison win in this one. The offense was anchored by a stellar pitching performance overall. Todd Redmond got things going as he held the PawSox in check for 6 innings. He allowed 7 hits and 2 walks but did not allow a run. Donn Roach would come on and throw a solid 2 innings and allowed only 1 hit. Steve Delabar continues to impress as he closed out the game with a no hit inning and struck out 1.
Ryan Schimpf got the scoring started as he popped a solo homer in the 2nd inning. Schimpf would go 2-5 on the evening. Alex Hansen was the stand out as he went 4-5 with a double and 4 RBIs. Andy Burns also had 4 hits and collected an RBI and scored twice. Jonathan Diaz scored each of the 2 times that he reached base. A solid effort all around by the Herd lead to the victory.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats @ Trenton Thunder (Win 5-1)
Austin Bibens-Dirkx had a phenomenal game as he pitched 7 strong innings and only allowed 1 run while striking out 8. With Dirkx dealing the Cats were not able to get things going against the Thunder early. Dirkx stellar performance gave the Cats enough time to get the bats going as they finally broke through in the late innings. In the top of the 7th the Cats broke out for 2 runs. Dirkx came on in the bottom of the inning and kept the same pace that he had all game with another shut down inning. The Cats would score a run in each of the last 2 innings while Cory Burns would record a 2 inning save.
Four Cat hitters had multi hit games. Roemon Field went 2-5 with an RBI Triple. Dwight Smith Jr. went 2-4 with an RBI. Jack Murphy also went 2-4 with a run scored. Shane Opitz would round it out with a 2-4 performance with 2 runs scored and an RBI. The late surge by the Fisher Cats was the difference in this one. Dirkx records the win and puts a bow on one of the best performances of his season.
Line of the game

Dunedin Blue Jays vs Clearwater Threshers (Loss 8-9)
A rough night for pitchers in general in Dunedin Sunday. Both starting pitchers would allow 5 earned runs to kick off the slug fest. Alonzo Gonzalez gave up 4 runs in the first inning for the D-Jays. This would set a trend for the Jays pitchers for the game. Every pitcher for the Jays allowed at least 1 run. The offense for the Jays was the only reason they were still in this game. Two big home runs for the Jays kept things going. Anthony Alford and Matt Dean would each collect 2 run homers. The third homerun by Jorge Saez almost capped off an impressive comeback as he hit a solo home run in the 9th. The Jays would then fall just short in the 9th of completing the comeback.
Line of the game
Anthony Alford 2-5 with a 2 run homer, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBIs

Lansing Lugnuts vs Dayton Dragons (Win 5-1)
As the Lugnuts prepare for the post season they send Shane Dawson out for a 1 inning prep start to stay fresh. He looked great in his one inning as he stuck out 2 and did not allow a base runner. Conor Fisk would take the ball in the second and run with it. Fisk pitched a solid 6.2 innings and allowed only a pair of runs. The big damage came off of a Narciso Crook home run in the 7th that knocked Fisk from the game. Jose Fernandez would come on and record the 4 out save. On offense it was the Jason Leblebijian show. He raked his way to a 4-4 game with a double, a home run, a run scored, and 3 RBI. A solid performance should give the Lugnuts some momentum to head into the playoffs that start Wednesday.
Line of the game
Jason Leblebijian 4-4 game with a double, a home run, a run scored, and 3 RBI
