Buffalo Bisons @ Rochester Red Wings (Loss 0-6)

I was able to attend this game and was hoping that I would get to watch a Bisons win but the Herd was just unable to get the engine started.  Phillippe Aumont started the game but was unable to find the plate.  In the first inning he walked the bases loaded and then gave up a single to Danny Santana with 2 outs which plated the first 2 Red Wing runs.  The second inning did not fair much better as he would walk the first batter of the inning. After recording an out in the inning he would walk Byron Buxton which put runners on the corners.  A sac fly and a single later the Red Wings were able to grab 2 more runs.  Aumont’s final line would read 2 IP, 4 ER, 2 hits, 6 walks, and 1 K.  Not the best way to start off the day for the Bisons.  Aaron Loup would eventually come on and give up another 2 runs on 4 hits and a walk.  This would account for the 6 Wing runs.

On the other side of the ball the Herd could not touch Pat Dean of the Red Wings.  Dean would baffle Bison hitters the entire game as he just cruised through the game.  Dean would only need 114 pitches to complete the game with a shutout.  He would only allow 6 hits and struck out 6.  Dalton Pompey was the only hitter that looked like he had Dean figured out.  Pompey collected the only multi hit performance with 2 hits and hit the ball hard.

Line of the game

Greg Burke 2 inning, 1 hits, 0 run, 0 walk, and 1 strikeouts
