Dunedin Blue Jays @ Palm Beach Cardinals (Loss 1-6)

Jeff Hoffman got of to a great start but as the game progressed allowed more and more base runners.  He allowed 9 hits and 3 walks over 5.2 innings.  This came to haunt him in the 6th in which he allowed 3 earned runs.  The Cardinals continued to ride there offense against the bullpen and scored another 3 runs in the 8th against Matt Smoral.  Smoral was knocked out of the game after recording only 1 out.

The D-jays recorded 8 hits but were unable to string anything big together.  They scored there lone run in the 6th on a single by J.D. Davis.  The top 6 batters in the lineup recorded 7 of the 8 hits with Roemon Fields recording the only multi-hit game.  Number 9 hitter catcher Martin Medina was the only runner to score.  The lack of pitching and hitting in the game did in the D-Jay’s Tuesday

Line of the night

No huge standouts.
