Buffalo Bisons (19-19 2.5GB, 4th)

The Buffalo Bisons have had a rather mediocre week.  3-4 in there past seven games and barely missing out on a few of those.  The Herd had a dominant performance against Toledo where they ransacked the Mud Hens 16-2

After losing those close games the Herd is still performing well even with all the roster changes.  The big club has been relying heavily on the Bisons for spot starts and bullpen depth.  Scott Copeland and Todd Redmond have been on the bus back and forth the past week.

Top Bisons

Batters

Brad Glenn– Glenn just destroyed the opposition the past week.  2 homeruns, 7 RBI, and 8 runs scored over the past 10.

Matt Hague– Continues to rake.  His hit streak was snapped the other night but he is still batting .341 with a homer and 5 RBI in the past 10 games.

Pitchers

Randy Wolf– Is still looking strong and tossed another solid 5 innings while allowing only 1 run.

Daniel Norris– Solid 6 innings of work and racked up 9 strikeouts.  Yes he did allow 2 runs but how do you ignore that dominance over opposing hitters through 6 innings.

Andrew Albers– Tossing 7 innings and allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits allowed the Bison bats to destroy the Mud Hens

Player Movement

Todd Redmond, and Scott Copeland were called up to Toronto but who knows for how long.  They both have their bus tickets in hand still.

Luis Perez joined the Bison bullpen after being sent up to New Hampshire the week prior.  Pitched 3 innings in his first outing and gave up no runs.

The Bisons activated Felix Doubront and performed great in his first appearance of the season.
