I know I’m late on this edition of Stock Watch, but here is the Week 4 edition.

It was a busy week with a lot of bodies moving around. The Jays sent down a promising CF and a pair of high ceiling arms, and called up a bunch of veteran arms and bats.

Buffalo Bisons (15-13 2.5GB, 3RD)

The Buffalo Bisons had their roster turned up-side-down and this week’s 1-6 mark shows it. An inconsistent offence, one that was shut out twice in two games, really hurt the Bisons.  On Friday, they started a weekend series with a 3-4 loss to Norfolk.

Despite their lossing record the Bisons have gotten a lot more interesting to watch with Top Prospects Daniel Norris, Dalton Pompey, and Miguel Castro all sent down this week.

Top Bisons

Batters

Matt Hague– Riding a 9-game hit streak. Hit .300/.391/.300 with 2 RBI, 3BB, and 4K this week.

Kevin Nolan was swinging a hot bat before getting bumped back to New Hampshire

Pitchers

Bo Shultz- made three appearances, with one save, two strike outs.

Randy Wolf– went 6 strong innings allowing one run on seven hits. He also walked 3 and struck out 4.

Player Movement

RP Ryan Tepera, RP Steve Delabar, OF Ezequiel Carrera, and 1B/RF/DH Chris Colabello were called up to Toronto

SP/RP Chad Jenkins, SP/RP Miguel Castro, 2B Steve Tolleson, and SS Jonathan Diaz were sent to Buffalo. SS Kevin Nolan and RP Luis Perez were returned to New Hampshire. RP John Stilson was assigned to Dunedin Blue Jays
