At the Plate- 3B Matt Hague was 2-for-3 with his first home run of 2015 in the 1st inning, a three run shot to left-center, cashing in Ezequiel Carrera and Chris Colabella. Speaking of Colabello, he was 3-for-4 with 2-runs, a home run and 2-RBI. Everybodies Japanese infielder, Munenori Kawasaki, was 2-for-4 with 2 doubles.
On the Mound- Scott Copeland has done it again, but this time he gets the win. Just look at the embedded tweet for the Bisons twitter account. For a guy that isn’t considered a prospect, he sure is pitching like one. Copeland now owns a 0.64 ERA, 0.053 BABIP, 0.29 WHIP, and 2.64 FIP. RP Preston Guilmet pitched the final two innings, allowing 2 hits, no runs, with no walks or strikeouts.
Copeland's night is done (7.0ip, 3h, 1r/er, 3bb, 3k). 5th time in 6 career @TripleABaseball starts with 7.0ip with 1r or fewer! #Bisons
