Buffalo Bisons (1-2)

Rochester Red Wings (2-1)

The Buffalo Bisons were downed 2-0 on Saturday to drop to 0-2. On Sunday they returned the favour blanked the Red Wings, 2-0. Welcome to the win column Buffalo.

At the Plate LF Chris Dickerson had a good day at the plate with 2 singles, 2 walks, and an RBI. RF Caleb Gindl drove in the clubs other run with his first 3-bagger. The Herd was 1-for-7 with RISP and stranded 10 bats.

On the mound the Herd used 5 pitchers to shut out Rochester on 8 hits. Veteran Randy Wolf throw 50 of his 82 pitches for strikes to collect his first win in his Bisons dĂ©but. Preston Guilmet really attacked the Red Wings hitter with 21 or his 25 pitches going for strikes. Preston struck out 3, no walks over his 2 innings of work. Gregory pitched a perfect 8th and Bobby Korecky registered his 23rd Bisons save, first of 2015.

Prospect watch: Sean Ochinko is one of my darkhorses for 2015. He made his 2015 dĂ©but, going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.
