The Toronto Blue Jays underwent a minor league resurrection in 2014, watching a number of their prospect take big leaps and essentially putting the Jays system back on the map. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that some of Toronto’s top prospect would garner some consideration in the 2014 MiLBY Awards.

The MiLBY (Minor League Baseball Yearly Awards) are presented yearly and use a fan voting system to honor the top minor league performances, players, and organizations of the season. Voting is open until October 23rd, and fans can vote online as often as they want.

Toronto received eight nominations in six different categories, up from just three nominations a season ago. Those categories include Top Starting Pitcher (2), Top Relief Pitcher, Break-out Prospect (2), Best Farm System, Best Performance, and Best Blooper.
