The Bisons are killing it and making a strong run for a wildcard spot. Bisons win 5-0. Kevin Pillar didn’t stay hitless for long with a 3-3 game, his 37th double and 27 SB. Dan Johnson hit a HR in his first game back from the DL. George Kottaras had the big blast of the game with a home run and drove in 4 RBI. Scott Copeland is looking really good as a member of the Bisons starting 5. Copeland pitched 7 strong, allowing 4 hits, 3BB, 6K, and induced 8 groundballs on 99 pitches. Colt Hynes and Steve Delabar pitched the final 2 innings of shutout ball.

New Hampshire (60-66)
NH won 8-5. K.C. Hobson and Matt Newman supplied most of the offence for the Fisher Cats. Hobson went 3-4 with a double and drove in 2-RBI. Matt Newman had one hit but it was a big one with his 6th HR and drove in 4. Andy Burns (27), Kevin Nolan (21), Melky Mesa (6), and Hobson (^) all hit doubles.

Dunedin Blue Jays (73-51)
The D-Jays offence was shut down in a 5-1 loss to Brevard County. Catcher Jorge Saez had a 2-4 game with a double and Gustavo Pierre hit his 3rd triple of the year. Roberto Osuna continues to struggle against High-A batter with another short outing (0-2, 10.03ERA). Efrain Nieves, Griffin Murphy and Hunter Carnevale pitched 5.2 of 4-hit shutout ball.
Brevard County wins game two of the series, 5-1. Nieves, Murphy, and Carnevale combine for 5.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen for DUN.

Lansing Lugnuts (56-67)
The Lugnuts also lose 5-1. Not much going on with the offence only getting 4 hits. Jeremy Gabryszwski (6-4, 4.33ERA) battled in this one, but still took the loss. Gabryszwski induced 10 ground outs, but did allow one long ball.
The Silver Hawks committed five errors tonight, but they also topped the Lugnuts, 5-1.

The C’s won 5-2. Tim Locastro and Franklin Barreto each had a pair of hits, with Franklin hitting his 20th and 21st doubles. Alexis Maldonado went 3-3 with a run and walk. Roemon Fields stole two bases and now has 40…want does this guy have to do for a promotion. Daniel Lietz allowed 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings. He walked one and K’ed 6 while inducing 6 groundballs. Alberto Tirado pitched 2 innings of no-hit relief for the win.
