The Bisons lose but Kevin Pillar extends hit streak, Fisher Cats and GCL Jays lose both games of a double dip, Taylor Cole strikes out 9 for the D-Jays, Shane Optiz goes 3-3,  Derrick Loveless puts on a hitting clinic against Fort Wayne, and Jairo Labourt has another good start for the C’s

Buffalo Bisons (66-59)

Bisons lose 4-2. Raul Valdes was charged with all four runs. Kyle Drabek pitched 2 scoreless innings. Kyle has been good lately with a 1-1, 3.46 ERA, zero walks (this is no typo), and 9K since July 19th.

Hey John Gibbons don’t call up Kevin Pillar until this hit streak ends. Pillar has 14 hits in his past 10 games, which is good for a .359 batting average.
