Buffalo Bisons (37-37)
The Bisons got a quality start out of veteran minor leaguer P.J. Walters to move back to .500. Offence was at a premium for both teams as the Bisons used a 3-run 3rd to beat Rochester Red Wings 3-2.
The bullpen gave the Bisons 4 innings of one run, 3 hit relief. The offence came in the Anthony Gose (RBI single and SB) and a Kevin Pillar 2-run home run. Brad Glenn extended his hit streak to 7 games with a single. Pillar is hitting .405/.450/.622 since being demoted by the Jays….just goes to show the difference between major league competition and Triple-A competition. Gose on the hand had 3K and collected his first hit since being sent down…..just does seem to get it.
