The Bisons Deck McGuire got roughed up for the second outing in a row to drop to 3-2, 5.03ERA with Buffalo. Dan Johnson went 2/2 and Brad Glenn hit a 3-run homer….his 4th.

There wasn’t much offence to speak of with Mike McDade driving in his clubs only run. Derrick Chung had two hits and is hitting .286/.333/.286 in 4 games since his promotion.

The D-Jays got a 3-run first inning and held on for a 5-3 win. Kendall Graveman gave up 2 runs on 4 hits and the bullpen allowed one run on 2 hits over 2 innings.
Dwight Smith Jr. must have read my comment in yesterday’s recap, about moving him out of the leadoff spot, because he had his best day at the plate in over a month. Smith Jr wnet 3/4 and hit his 5th home run. Kevin Patterson also went deep for his 6th.

The Lugnuts scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th but it wasn’t enough as they fell 4-3. This was a pitching dual for most of the game. The teams were tied 1-1 going into the 8th,but Bowling Green Hot Rods scored one in the 8th and 2 in the 9th to pull away with the win.
Chase De Jong pitched 6 strong, giving up one run on 4 hits. Chase struck out 8 and didn’t walk a batter. Chase has yet to win a game in 12 starts this season.

Boomer Collins drove in all his clubs runs, while going 2/4. Roemon Fields continues to be a force in the leadoff spot with his 3 double of the season and 2nd in as many games.
