Buffalo Bisons (35-36)
The Bisons have been playing better of late and have won 4 in a row with a 5-3 victory. Aaron Sanchez was shaky to start but settled down to give the Bisons 5IP. He did a good job of keeping the ball on the ground…..8 ground outs to 1 flyball, which just happened to be a home run. The bullpen helped their starter out by throwing 3 scoreless innings, which allowed the offence time to figure things out.
The Bisons offence was silent until plating 3 runs in the 7th and another 2 runs in the 8th to take the lead. Jonathan Diaz had a big day with a 4-RBI day, 2-BB, and a HR. Diaz drew a bases loaded walk for the win. Hector Gimenez also had a pretty good day going 2/2 with 2-BB.
