Toronto Blue Jays Minor League Recap: Aaron Sanchez rocked in debut

Buffalo Bisons (32-33)

The Bisons gave up 2 run in the 4th and 5 runs in the 5th and lost to 7-2 to Toledo to drop a game below .500.

Aaron Sanchez got rocked in his first Triple-A start. It just goes to show that there are big differences in the level of competition from one level to the next. Another example of this, is the success of Kevin Pillar at this level. Pillar struggles to hit or draw walks in Toronto, but with the Bisons he tears the cover off the ball. Pillar had two doubles and went 3/4. Ryan Goins had two hits and Cobly Rasmus drove in both of Buffalo’s runs.
