Tonight the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field and will attempt to climb above .500 for the first time since June 24, 2013 June 26, 2013.

Mark Buehrle gets the call for the Blue Jays and will be up against 24-year-old Matt Moore. Buehrle had a rough April in 2013 but looked relatively sharp in spring training so will hopefully be ready to go out of the gate for the Blue Jays.

Moore won 17 games for the Rays in 2013 and pitched to a stellar 3.29 ERA. He throws his fastball in the mid-to-low 90s and he also throws a sinker, change and curve. His Achilles heel is probably control – he walked 4.5 batters per nine last year so you would think the Jays might be best served to take a few more pitches than normal, in hopes Moore will work himself into trouble.
