what has to be considered a successful rookie season, couldn’t get out of the first inning against his hometown team.  Giving up five runs in his two thirds of an inning.  The next two relievers, Neil Wagner and Luis Perez each gave up a run before the next five out of the ‘pen shut things down.

That allowed the offense to get things going with six runs in innings six through eight.  Unfortunately, or fortunately if it’s draft positioning you’re worried about, they couldn’t finish it off.

As per the board, Toronto will pick 9th and 11th in the 2014 Rule 4 draft.  With it purportedly a deep draft, it’s a small consolation for a very very disappointing season.
