Oh Philadelphia, you couldn’t even beat Miami. Tonight could have been rather good, but the Phillies couldn’t finish the deal. And with four left against the Braves, the Jays had better be pretty bad against the Rays to ensure they finish ‘ahead’ of the Phils in the reverse standings.

Tomorrow sees Mark Buerhle get the nod versus the O’s while the teams the Jays are chasing…..
Colorado has the day off. Probably not such a bad thing.
Milwaukee are away to the Mets for four to finish the season. With the Mets a game ahead of Toronto and owning the tiebreaker, so, effectively, two games up I’m not sure exactly what is needed here. I’m guessing, if the Jays win 2 of their final 4, then the Mets could only win one, still finish ahead of the Jays, and allow the Brewers to pass Toronto as well.
The Mariners have a day off before three against the A’s. That can’t be good.
