Stupid Orioles Already Out Of Contention

Sokolowski-USA TODAY SportsAll season the Toronto Blue Jays fan base has been talking about sticking it to John Farrell, ending the manhandling by the Rays and fighting the good fight of keeping the Yankees out of the playoffs.
The Orioles have kind of been the forgotten division rival despite being in contention all season.
But just a week ago it looked like the Jays series with the Orioles in this last week could make or break the Orioles playoff hopes and that we were going to have an exciting series to see if the Jays could play spoiler.
It’s one thing to play spoiler when a team still has a boat load of games left, it’s a whole different animal to do it when there’s 6 games left in the season.
But nooooo the stupid Orioles are on a 5 game losing streak and 5 games back out of a playoff spot. With 6 games left and 5 teams ahead of them they’re not mathematically out of it yet but there out of it unless a miracle happens.
They really messed up, they had a chance to stay in contention since they just had a 4 game series on the road with the Rays, the top wild card team but they got swept.
What kind of pathetic team can’t even win a couple of games at Tropicana Field. It can’t be that hard, am I right?
It also doesn’t help that all the teams the Orioles are chasing besides the Yankees and Rays have games against nothing but teams with losing records the rest of the year.
Stupid Orioles if you had just 3+ more wins right now this series could have been very interesting and intense.
But instead it’s going to be more like every other September series in previous years between these 2 teams other than 2012.
Maybe not for delusional members of the Orioles organization and delusional Orioles fans but for the rest of us this is unfortunately just another series.
